Welcome to 1st Grade! My name is Mrs. Jones and I am your child's teacher this year! Thank you for taking the time to visit my webpage!  Here is where you will find up-to-date information as to what is happening in our class! The webpage is updated monthly so please feel free to visit throughout the year.

Please place any notes in your child's homework folder, including changes in dismissal! You may also communicate with me via email at jjones1@nyackschools.org with any comments, questions or concerns you may have and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Throughout the year we also use Class Dojo! You may contact me on there as well! 

Snack!

We will break for a snack in the afternoon at 2:30pm. Please pack your son/daughter with a snack and drink!

Supply List

 3 dozen yellow pencils- sharpened

2 marble composition books

1 pencil case or box

1 pair of safety scissors

2 box of freezer gallon-size ziploc bags (no names on them please)

2 boxes of 24 crayons

1 box of colored pencils

4 block erasers

1 pack of dry erase markers

3 two-pocket folders (2 yellow and 1 blue) (plastic/bottom pockets)

24 small glue sticks

2 box wipes *

Please write your child’s name in permanent marker on all supplies except the zip bags! * Please place all supplies in a large bag with your child’s name clearly written on the outside. Homework Supplies Please be sure you have the following supplies at home for completing homework. Do not send them to school. Pencils, Crayons, Glue, Scissors, A sharpener
